EVANESCE is a series of intermedia sculptures made of wire mesh. Layered panels of the material create synthesis of the complete image. The work uses dynamics of light in a spatial context and movement of the observer. It examines how light penetrates trough overlapping layers of wire mesh and how light illuminates space inside the work. Different densities of the material create different opacities and build depth of colour and spatial depth.
